The other products have no issues with the remote at all. Something in our house must be interfering with the YouView box infra-red. This is so frustrating, as it has operated for a long time with no real problem. Which to me confirms the box isn't locking up. If you use the buttons on the top of the YouView box, while you are having trouble with the remote, you can scroll/select etc as normal. In fact the YouView remote operates the TV absolutely fine, it only has trouble operating the YouView box. These all work with their own respective remotes no problem at all. We have an older circa 2007 Panasonic 42in Plasma, an Apple TV (circa 2013), and a Panasonic DVD player.

I am hoping an expert will see this and be able to throw some pointers our way. I feel there is something in the house causing interference somehow, but am at a loss to what it could be.
